After creating the branding for coaching company Blikveld Coaching, I started working on their site. Following the thought process behind the businesscard, the website features a big photo of a landscape near the coaching location. This landscape shows the beauty and calm of the area, and this location is actually also visited for walks while coaching.

Navigation and layering

The website features animated page transitions. The photo is a stable background, and the content overlaps in different layers. Inspiration for the look has been inspirational magazines with big image features. The content either lives in floating boxes (homepage and contact page) or is snapped to the left side (the rest).

The navigation uses AJAX with history API for page switching, but also works without JavaScript. Google crawls all the pages well.
